This Privacy Policy explains how the Vectorizer AI Automation Chrome extension (“the Extension”) handles information when you use it to automate image conversion on Vectorizer.ai.

1. Information the Extension handles

• Images you select: The Extension processes files you intentionally select or drop into its interface and uploads them to Vectorizer.ai so that the website can convert them. Do not select images you do not have permission to upload.
• Preferences: The Extension may store settings such as your chosen output format and alert-sound preference using Chrome's local extension storage.
• Download information: The Extension may use file names and download status to help manage converted files and place them in a designated download folder.
• Processing status: The Extension reads relevant status and page elements on Vectorizer.ai to automate the conversion workflow and show progress.

2. How information is used

Information is used only to provide the Extension's core function: automating the image-to-vector conversion workflow requested by the user, including upload, progress monitoring, and downloading converted results.

3. Where information is sent

Images selected for conversion are sent to Vectorizer.ai, a third-party service, for processing. Their handling of uploaded files is governed by their own terms and privacy practices. The Extension does not operate Vectorizer.ai and cannot control its data retention or processing practices. Review Vectorizer.ai's policies before uploading sensitive or confidential images.

4. Storage and retention

Extension preferences are stored locally using Chrome extension storage. The Extension does not maintain its own account database or remote user profile. Converted files are downloaded through the browser and are subject to your browser's download settings. Data sent to Vectorizer.ai may be retained or processed according to that service's policies.

5. Sale and sharing

Ridoy Tech does not sell users' personal information. Information is not shared by Ridoy Tech for advertising or unrelated purposes. Images are sent to Vectorizer.ai only when you choose to process them through the Extension.

6. Permissions

The Extension's browser permissions are used to display its side panel, interact with Vectorizer.ai for the requested conversion, store preferences, manage downloads, and provide relevant alerts. The Extension is not intended to read or collect content from unrelated websites.

7. Security

The Extension is designed to limit information handling to what is needed for its image-conversion purpose. However, no software or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Avoid uploading sensitive information unless you are comfortable with the third-party service's practices.

8. Children's privacy

The Extension is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not specifically directed at children. It does not knowingly collect children's personal information.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the Extension's features or data practices change. The latest version will be published at this page, with an updated effective date when appropriate.
